This course provides an you with an overview of the requirements
of the Emergency Wardens Organization at OC Transpo.
The course will help you to understand:
The roles of the different Wardens
Assist you in thinking about where your Evacuation Maps and Fire Alarm Pull Stations are located
Protocol for exiting the building
Dealing with persons with special needs
Emergency Assembly Areas and Fire Department Responsibilities
This course will provide you with an introduction to the fare structure for regular fare routes. By the end of this course you will be able to recognize the fare required for different customers and to identify your role in applying the fare structure.
This course is designed to help increase awareness surrounding harassment, violence and domestic violence in the workplace. In addition, the course will identify and assess the risk of violence in the workplace and provide preventative strategies to reduce workplace violence occurrences.
OC Transpo recognizes that workers are at risk for workplace violence and is committed to minimizing these risks by taking all reasonable measures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
The purpose of the Violence Prevention in the Workplace Program is to foster a healthy, safe and respectful workplace by minimizing the possibility of violent incidents or harassment occurring in a Transit Services’ workplace and to ensure that should such incidents occur, they are managed appropriately
